NO RESERVE Hey there Mercedes collectors here is a special ca, for sale it is a 1983 280 sl Mercedes convertible, it has NO RUST and is complete, IT DOES NOT RUN! the 6 cylinder motor is partially disassembled and I do not know why? the parts are all in the trunk nothing missing. the previous owner got it for a bad debt in the condition it is in right now . This car has original paint that is faded and it is very straight without door dings or major nick, the car is very nice as it is from dry climate south texas . It has the ORIGINAL LEATHER INTERIOR IN EXCELLENT CONDITION aside from the center wood console trim, the body is excellent as is the chrome tri, it has a real nice hard top and it has a soft top but we do not have the tool to remove the hardtop to look at the soft top. the only part broken is the left front fog ligh, it is the sexy black with palomino color combo. A Mercedes mechanic will have it running in no time and a paint and body guy can spot paint and buff the car back to decent conditio, the tires have air but they are ol, the brakes work and we have the key .
