1973 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Additional Info:

1973 Mercedes 450SL (last year of the desirable small chrome bumpers).

Really nice example of this timeless classic car.96,000 original miles.

CD stereo added and new speakers. Everything works as it should. The car has the euro style square headlights and chrome wheels that add to the beauty of the car.

Interior is clean with no cracks, rips or tears. Glass is in good shape.Hardtop in good condition.Soft top in great shape, with no tears, but some shrinkage so there is a slight gap at rear when closed.

Chrome mag wheels and original set of Mercedes wheels plus a third set of steel wheels - all with good tires (12 wheels and tires total).

Mechanically sound.Original paint.Drives beautifully. No shakes, no leaks. Drives straight. Good brakes. My mechanic checks it out every year when I take it out of storage.Car is in great shape and very solid. It’s a Mercedes and when you close the door you can hear the solid quality of the vehicle.

Very reliable. Always starts easily after winter storage.Selling because of disability and can no longer drive. Otherwise I would be cruising.

Purchased ten years ago from 85 year old who was the second owner. I searched for 2 years before purchasing this one.

Door map pockets removed and professionally replaced with matchlng leather to make it easier for me to get in/out when I was still able to drive. I have the original map pockets (in good condition) if you want to replace them, but I believe that it looks better without them.

Comes with 2 car covers as well.

Some minor surface rust under trunk mat where water must have collected and a coupleof minor dings and touch ups, but you have to look close to see any flaws. Paint and chrome shine. Overall this car is solid and in very good shape. It’s not a concourse vehicle, but I haven’t found a better example outside of a car show. You won’t be disappointed in this purchase. I wasn’t. It’s a great classic car for a good price. No work required. Start it up and enjoy. Car will definitely increase in value as 1973 is the last year of the small bumper cars.
