WELCOME! This was a BARN FIND, I purchased last year from the Original 1 OWNER who purchased it brand new from Mercedes back in 1970! I have all the original invoice paperwork and DECADES of work, so much to list. As you see the folder of paperwork! Was originally owned by a unknown movie actor/producer who kept in a Barn Upstate. The car was restored about 15 years ago. Needs some TLC-mainly Brake Work, just some leaking brake lines but the major parts of the brake system working fine! Since age of the car. Little things like fuel gauge/etc, Air conditioner needs Re-Charge----THIS WAS A SPECIAL ORDER to have Air conditioner but will need probably to rebuild the AC unit. Very minimal costs, or you can just get a new one. I installed a Brand New Oil Cooler which I had to purchase from Germany, along with Brand New Valve Cover. Fresh Oil/Filter change! Please expect to go over the car. It starts right up. Probably could use some new Bearings/Valve Adjustment, sounds very strong the engine. Clutch seems fine as well! The body/paint very shiny, since was restored nicely but still has some bubbling on the rear quarter areas, since they have kits to cut out, and repair the right away. Not much cost either. Overall very nice clean shell worth working with considering a 1970! The interior is IMMACULATE! The dashboard does not have 1 CRACK! NOT EVEN 1 CRACK! The seats have NO wear at all, all immaculate. Even the headliner IMMACULATE. Rear seats never used also! GORGEOUS! The interior is the best part of the car. And we all know when the interior is damaged on other cars, it will cost thousands and thousands to make look mint and original. IT has an Aftermarket CD Alpine detachable face radio with all new speakers, since Im sure you can agree the original radio and speakers would have been long destroyed if still in the car. I DO NOT HAVE The original radio. They are dirt cheap on ebay, since no one would want to listen to that anyway. THIS IS A GREAT RETRO DRIVER type car! I was going to make into a show car but never got the chance! So this is perfect for someone to finish with minimal restoring! SUPER Cool looking car with a Stick Shift!
