1980 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Additional Info:

1984 Mercedes Benz 230E with 82,681 miles showing on the odometer however the title says the odometer is broken. Not sure why it says that as the odometer works but maybe it broke at some point and then it got fixed. In Ohio once that box is checked...it stays checked forever. Nice looking classic Mercedes sedan! Presents well, starts easily, new tires and brakes. Runs like a top. No smoke from the engine. The automatic transmission has just been serviced (new filter and fluid) and shifts perfectly.

The interior is in great condition. It has the Zebrano wood on the dash and the shifter plate is also the Zebrano type plate. The seats are nice and firm, no rips or tears. The door panels are all very nice. The carpet is very clean.

The body looks real decent for a 35 year old car. The paint looks presentable, it's a 7 out of 10 IMO. Has some imperfections. There is a sun bleach spot in the roof. It has a sun roof and it opens and closes without any issues. The hood has some paint blemishes here and there. There are like 3 very small bubbles under the paint on the passenger side on the wheel arch (see pic). Over all the car looks very nice and the blemishes mentioned are not major issues. The car presents very well though inside and out as it is. The trunk is solid and clean and sports a spare and the original jack.
The 2.3L gas engine runs great. Per the online data I have found these cars average 27-30MPG so you'll be able to go awhile between fill ups. Gas prices are always going up...having a car that is easy on gas helps. The odometer reads 82,681 today. I do drive it some so it may be slightly higher at delivery. A web reference I found said keep the oil changed and these cars will rack up intergalactic miles. Not sure how many miles that is....but it's a lot I guess LOL!

This car has a clear CLEAN Ohio (no salvage or flood) title ie no leins, ready for the new owner. It's just had new brakes put on it. It has new tires also. The classic wheels have the original hub caps and beauty rings and they ALL look really good! The exhaust is quiet, no issues. The Becker OEM stereo works as does the Hirschmann power antenna. The AC is not currently working it may just need a charge. Ive not messed with it. Overall, this is a very nice looking, great running, unrestored classic Mercedes Benz sedan. Very smooth on the road...tracks straight, its a nice car! Its built like a tank and its a very safe car to put your loved ones in.
