MotorCarTrader.com is proud to offer this beautiful 1967 Mercedes 230SL Roadster. This car was produced in late October of 1966 and was one of the last 700 or so 230SLs made. The car was originally sold 3/10/67 to Mr. Clark in St. Louis, MO. The car was serviced in St. Louis, MO until 6/1/67 and the last time the service book was stamped by Charles Schulz, Inc. in St. Louis. It was then serviced by Continental Motors, Inc of Fairfield, CT at 9,450 miles on 8/11/67. The car stayed serviced at every regular service interval by Continental Motors Inc. until 1/23/78. As we understand the car was then sold to the new owner in Santa Fe, New Mexico and the last service stamp was in 3/3/2009 and he owned the car until a few years ago. We performed a full service of the car as listed below on 2/26/16. The car is ready to go and to be driven anywhere. All original books go with the car and it is an all matching number 230SL in the original color of Dark Olive (291). The color combination on this car is stunning with the Dark Olive (looks Dark Green) and Beige interior. More info on this wonderful Mercedes Benz "Pagoda":

  • Matching numbers car with the original engine. This is a matching numbers car with the original engine as the engine number is on the original Service Booklet. Also the suffix of the body number matches (matching the data plate) on the hood, boot lid, hard top and transmission support.
  • Original books with stamped service manual to 2009. Original owner's plate included and originally sold to the first owner in St. Louis, MO.
  • The engine is very strong with great oil pressure and compression of 130 to 140 psi on all 6 cylinders.
  • Original underside which is solid. There are factory original markings on the suspension.
  • Original tools included.
  • Recent service including new fuel pump, new water pump, new oil pan gasket, upper oil pan sealed, new front crankshaft seal installed and 4 wheel alignment.
  • Oil change and coolant flushed/changed.
  • A very straight body. We had this Mercedes 230SL recently color sanded, buffed and polished, as it has an older paint job, but still presents very nice.
  • While not a perfect show car or trailer queen, this is a great driver level car which has been well maintained and ready to drive anywhere. It runs, drives, shifts excellent and is truly a pleasure to drive. These Pagodas have been appreciating very well over the past few years as they are wonderful driver cars and well-built sports car, especially when they have been cared for as well as this car has been.
