This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300GD is a long-wheelbase example powered by a3.0Ldiesel inline-five paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The stock 5-spoke wheels have been powder coated and are fitted with General Grabber ST tires. A factory receiver hitch is installed out back.The truck is was imported from Germany to the US just before the seller’s acquisition in 2015.

A cosmetic refurbishment in 2017consisted of new exterior trim, weather stripping, lighting, carpets, door panels, and more.Recent mechanical service included a new radiator, battery, shocks, tie rods, and fluids. This G Wagen is offered with receipts from the recent work and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s name. This 4-door example was recently supplied with a new grille, trim, weather stripping, lights, wiper arms, emblems, hood insulation, and more. The stock 5-spoke wheels have been powder coated and are fitted with General Grabber ST tires. A factory receiver hitch is installed out back.

The black and grey interior has been refreshed with new carpets, insulation, door panels, and dash components.Noted blemishes include wear on the driver’s seat piping and rear backrest along with a tear in the headliner. The 5-digit odometer shows 52k miles. It was inoperable for a short time and has since been repaired.An aftermarket stereo has replaced the original. The 3.0L OM617 diesel inline-five sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox, dual-range transfer case, andlocking differentials. A new radiator and a new battery have been installed, along with fresh brakes, shock absorbers, while the frame has been sprayed with a protective coating.A fluid service and an oil change were recently completed. Records from the recent refurbishment are included in the sale.

All new paint - stripped to metal and done the right way. All windows removed and window rubber/seals were replaced, all doors/rear gate have new weather stripping, hood latch, wiper arms, grill, emblems, headlights, tail lights, side marker lights, hood-mounted blinker lights, OEM seatbelts and retractors, shocks all around, one new front and one new rear window regulator, both rear mud flaps, radiator was re-cored, new washer fluid reservoir, new carpet-matching floor mats (front and rear), new battery, wheels powder coated, new OEM dash-mounted map light, hood new insulation panel, new shifter knob, new glove box door, new door pocket panels, new window handles.

Mechanical Items:
Coolant flush, brake flush, power steering fluid change, oil change, differential fluid changed, transfer case fluid changed, alignment, brake pads and discs replaced, tie rods replaced, steering shock replaced, drag link replaced, thermostat replaced, tachometer replaced, both accessory belts replaced, headlamp/windshield washer motor replaced, ignition switch replaced.
