1965 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:

Rare 1965 Mercedes 300se Cabriolet. Right Hand Drive. A total of only 92 right hand side drives where built, only 708 se in total production. This is one of two with an experimental floor mounted automatic transmission documented by Producktions-Auftrag chassis Number 112-023-22-007544. was delivered to London as a test vehicle for the automatic transmission. The factory team, including former head of the vehicle development and creator of the 300 SL, engineer Rudolh Uhlenhout, specified that this vehicle would include components for the column shift as well as the flor shift prototype components.
Interestingly the Productktion-Auftrag directs MB to test the vehicle for no more than 200k and then return the car to the factory for retail customer preparation.
All numbers matching car. Comes with all of the parts from the original car plus some added parts from a donor car. Doors, trim, and some mechanical parts.
Car has been dismantled for a full restoration, very minor body work required. This is a highly collectible car rare important car.


Original owner started a left hand version on the the dash, but a right hand dash comes with the car
