1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Running - Includes Hard-Top and New Soft-Top

1959 Mercedes-Benz 190-Series Additional Info:

I am selling this for a close family friend who is ready to part with her as he never gets to drive it due to his age. He has continued to have work done on it to make sure she runs good. It has not been driven more than 25 miles in last 15 years. This is a no reserve auction.
We have had two issues with the winning bidders wanting to pay over time. If you can't pay within 7 days of winning the bid, please do not bid on this car.
As you already know, these cars have been increasing in value on a regular basis over the years, with Hagerty listing these at $108,000 for Class 3.
There has been over $10,000 in mechanic work done in last several years, to make sure the carburetors are good to go and that she starts up. Aside from having engine and carburetors completely gone over, had the following done last month:

• New brake lines - 11/2015
• Flush/bleed brake system - 11/2015
• Replace coolant bypass hose - 11/2015
• Adjust throttle linkage - 11/2015
• New fuel sender - 11/2015
• New fuel filter - 11/2015
• New battery - 11/2015
• Fuel tank flushed - 11/2015

In addition, it had a brand new black convertible top from GAHH installed in August 2012. You can see the photo of it with the top down right before the install was completed. This is what she looked like when fully washed and polished.
As you can see in the photos, she looks great underneath as well. Put her up on the racks when they were doing inspection and the mechanic took a bunch of photos. Also, see below to hear her running, and to watch her drive down the streets of Las Vegas.
This car spent most of it's life in Georgia. The current owner said it used to be driven by a very well established businessman in the Atlanta region in the late 70s and a beautiful passenger by the name of Vanna White used to be in the passenger seat. He said between the beautiful car and the beautiful passenger, it was a knockout punch to any man of any age at the time.
The car is currently in Las Vegas. The owner takes a little time to get back to me as he does not frequently check emails and prefers a phone call to his landline. Please give me at least 24 hours to respond to any questions you may have as I will need to get a hold of him for confirmation.
