1981 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Additional Info:

I LOVE this 240D. I've had it for a few years now. I have done a LOT of repairs and rebuilding to it. I will attempt to list everything I have done while I've had it.
Specs: 1981 Mercedes 240D
4 cylinder N/A diesel motor with 4 speed manual transmission.

Manual windows, manual climate controls, no sunroof. 2" tow hitch welded to frame.
Runs perfect. Shifts great, drives great and stops great. Great working A/C and heat. (I am a mechanic and certified HVAC tech and did a proper retrofit myself)
Parts replaced in the last 2 years: (in no particular order)
Rear springs, Sub-frame mounts, Differential mount, motor mounts, upper control arms and joints, lower ball joints, front sway bar bushings, caster bushings, back half of exhaust system, passenger-front window regulator, rebuilt drive shaft, front wheel bearings, brake master cylinder, front brake calipers/rotors/pads, rear rotors and pads, tie rod ends, drag-link & ends, steering stabilizer, brand new tires and alignment Sept. 2017, steel wheels with polished hub caps, adjusted play out of steering box, valves adjusted, fixed speedometer, 300d radiator, brake/clutch fluid flush, new vacuum shut-off valve for motor,
Needs:
-Axle boots
-Stereo system is use-able but not amazing.
-Maybe rear shocks soon.
-Electric radio antenna doesn't work.
-Cruise control doesn't work
-Vacuum door lock system has leak and is currently disconnected.
If I have time/money, I will fix the items it needs and the price will reflect accordingly.
This is an excellent and comfy daily driver. Other projects force sale.
