Re-Listed due to non-paying buyer.This (1991) was the last year of the famous W126 body made by Mercedes. In that year, I had bought this exact model and color brand new. In 1995 I sold the car when deployed overseas. I have searched for the same black model for some time until I acquired this one.This car is the cleanest one you will find with only 2 prior owners. It had been in storage for a while and was owned by a family friend for years. With only 89500 miles over 26 years, it has been driven about 3500 miles per year.
The battery is BRAND NEW and it has received a tune up recently. Engine is very strong and car starts and runs smoothly. The transmission shifts without hesitation of any kind. These cars can drive 200k miles easily.The interior and body are in remarkably good shape for its age- in fact, the best I've seen of any comparable car and I have seen many. The interior controls such as power windows and sunroof work. The leather upholstery is clean and still smells like leather. The paint is the original paint and still has a nice shine consistent with the age of the car.
BRAND NEW all four tires were installed recently. Wipers are brand new and BATTERY is brand new. All BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS were just changed. The AC has been recharged. The tail lights should be changed and the car should be detailed with black wax. There are no major dents, only minor dings and scratches which are very few for a car this vintage. Overall the body is strong, solid and in very good condition with NO rust.
See all the pictures carefully: there is some age discoloration on the wood console with the gear shifter but that part is available at many junk yards.
