1991 SL500 with 49,000 original miles. Have done a lot of work in the 2+ years I've owned it and is running extremely well. Clean Carfax. Work includes:
-intake manifold removed and hoses, gaskets, seals replaced-fuel distributor rebuilt-EHA replaced-OVP relay replaced-new battery-new brakes-rear rotor replaced-new hazard light relay-new regulator with-new washer reservoir-spare smart key-new O2 sensor (NO check engine light comes on) :)-new vacuum hose-4 new tires. Continental 225/55R16-new spark plugs-recent oil change-reupholstered front seats-A/C blows air but not cold-new Pioneer Bluetooth stereo w/ remote (why a remote? No idea) :)
This car is very sound mechanically and looks good from 5 feet away. The paint is tired and if you want to make it more than a driver, will need a respray at some point in time. Power seat on driver's side works fine. Passenger does not. Soft top is in excellent shape with the plastic windows showing it's age. Includes hardtop and stand. Had front seats reupholstered last year. No rust on car.
