This car is customized, mostly on the exterior. If you are looking for an original collector piece, this is not it. If you want a car that will turn heads everywhere you go, THIS IS IT!
Texas and Florida car; brought to Minnesota for Summer use some years back. We winter in Florida, so the car was always garaged for the winters. Engine and transmission 24,000 miles since factory new, installed from California car that was damaged by hail and tied up for a long time in an estate battle. The California car was bought at an auction and parted out so I bought the engine / transmission assembly.
This car was completely updated mechanically. New brakes, rotors, A/C components, two new fuel pumps, (front subframe totally rebuilt, etc.) It took me and my mechanic almost a year to complete.
Both tops; soft top black excellent condition - no rips or tears; garage stand for hard top. Has a black plastic dash cap (not yet glued down).
White instrument cluster gauges. Very attractive addition to the total black. Attractive woodgrain trim accents on both door panels. Console wood in near-new condition - no cracks or chips in the finish; no sun fading of wood parts.
Euro headlights with Euro-style front bumper trim; Custom Jaguar-style grill mesh; Gold Mercedes horizontal bar and star in grill; chrome wheels and chrome lugs with chrome / gold hub trim inserts.
Lots of custom lighting embellishments. LED inserts in headlights for day / dusk / dawn noticeability. The LED inserts are in addition to the standard high/low headlamp beams that function normally with the headlamp switch. Complete daytime marker lights come on/off with the ignition key, so you are always lit for safety (see last pic).
Side turn signal flashers add safety for vehicles or pedestrians approaching from your sides (unlike stock factory cars with only the under-bumper signals). The following video clip displays BOTH the LED marker headlamps and the side turn signal flashers working in conjunction with the essentially useless under bumper signals. The larger upper signal lens is visible both from the front and from the sides:
Needs catalytic converter; Needs A/C servicing; Paint is original and average; Driver door has scratch from bicycle abrasion that is hardly noticeable from 10 feet, but should probably be corrected.

This vehicle is probably best suited to someone who can get to the beautiful Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness near Ely MN within reasonable travel time. We are probably talking about buyers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Dakotas.
