1979 Mercedes 450SL W107 with a 454CID, 7.4L Big Block Chevy engine.

I purchased this as a project car and it "lot drives", but will need work and some fine tuning to get it on the road, I just have had enough with fighting to get it smoged in California, they will not give me a pass as the BAR so... off it goes to someone that does not have to contend with the smog restrictions we have here in California.

I went so far as to purchase a Mercedes 5.6L Euro 560 SEC engine but Just don't have the time to swap back to Smog and register it here, Engine is for sale in another auction, and I will throw in a Mercedes Auto Transmission if you take the engine with the car.

Pictured as convertible but comes with the hard top, color matched. Paint is OK, a ten footer, as the car guys put it. Also as part of the lot drives for the few times I took it down the street it will set off car alarms wile burbling at a crawl, Neighbors always appreciated this on my infrequent Sunday morning cruise.

Seller pays for transport, I will assist in loading on my end.
