I purchased this car one year ago from a local collector because of its condition. I have drove it more than 4,000 miles and loved every minute of it. I have a truck restoration that is 99% complete and I need to make room. The car had been parked for the previous five years and I gave it the attention it deserved. Some of the work I had performed was, new tires, new battery, complete electrical tune-up, gas tank removed and professionally cleaned. New fuel pump,fuel filter, fuel accumulator, and fuel hose. The idle control unit was also replaced. Once these issues were addressed the car runs and drives beautifully. The car has spent the last 31 years right here in Cleveland, TN. The AutoCheck shows zero issues and documents the miles. Everything on the car works as it should except the clock. It has power going to it, so the clock must be bad. Everything else is good to go. Power windows, locks, cruise control and ice cold A/C. It comes with the hard top and an unused soft top. The original paper towels from the factory are still folded up in the top. The unused tool kit and jack with the factory knee pads are all in their storage compartment. It has a very small dent on the top of the right rear quarter. There are scratches in the paint where someone removed the hardtop and was careless. I photographed both issues. This car will drive anywhere. Fly in to Chattanooga and drive it home. It is really a special car and I will miss driving it. I welcome anyone that is interested for a test drive and inspection any normal hours. I can drive it to the mechanic of your choice to inspect. The car does not use oil or smoke. The original radio with cassette and power antenna all work as they should. This car is 33 years old and not perfect. It does shows as it should with 43,000 original miles, super nice, but not perfect. I am selling no reserve. I will NOT end the auction early. The small dent in the rear quarter panel that is pictured looks way worse than it actually is; Regardless, I am taking the car in for paintless dent repair in the morning. The car is to nice to be sold with a small dent.
