1992 300sd mercedes Rebuilt Diesel Motor

1992 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:

I have an almost showroom W140 300sd Diesel Mercedes sadly must go. I bought the car from an Estate and it began to use oil. These cars are rare as only 1000 where sold in the US. They are also called "Rod Benders" due to a manufactures defect in the motors with almost a 100% failure. I have replaced the motor with a complete California Rossi rebuilt motor, resealed injector pump and turbo in 7/2016, with all the updates. I also replaced the A/C comp.and starter with motor install as well hoses, belts etc.and the Trans was serviced. The oil and filter was just changed as the Low Oil sender had a minor leak and needed to be replaced. I am very formula with all the defectives in this car and addressed all of them. The engine wiring harnesses were changed due to mfg defect in using "Biodegrading wiring insulation" Again a 100% failure and the harness is no longer available. I found one and cost over me $750.00. picture #20. It gave me 30+ MPG to Fla. and back, with no oil consumption or issues on a 3,000 mile ride. The radio was replaced and rewired in as Amp failed. There is an XM radi, Cd and Fm. This car is rare. New tires and brakes, Battery. ice cold air. I do have some spare parts that go along. The only defect is a small crack in lower left windshield. Picture #17. I have spent over 12k on this project but my lose your gain. The paint and interior are flawless. Everything works as it should, door locks, cruise with no issues. The pictures are poor as the car mirrors everything!! The car has a few dings and dongs but to few to mention on a 25 year old car. The car can be seen with an appointment or iPhone face time.
