1974 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series Base Additional Info:

El Jefe: The 1974 Car of the Year.
This fantastic Mercedes is a great runner. I have about $7000. into it and am now ready to move on to other pending projects. But I will miss this awesome car. Just detailed. Fantastic upholstery and shiny, I believe original, paint on all but roof andtrunk lid, where it is faded. Good Michelins.
Here are its known needs: left temperature control arm, intact but inop a/c, occasional clock, slow sunroof, rain leak of unknown origin, small dash cracks, holy muffler, occasional power antennae, inop cruise control. Not bad for a 42 year old! I have tried to be as thorough and forthcoming as possible- please see the printout from when I bought on Ebay- all of these items applied then as well.
If I had more space I would keep El Jefe.
Clear title in hand- will sell miles unknown as I can not be certain of the accuracy of the working odometer reading.
Carpets are great- floors shown in photos without carpet or floor mats to show solid floors.
