1990 Mercedes Benz 560 SEC "116,000 Original Miles! Super Clean! Dealer serviced!”
VIN: WDBCA45E5LA543122
The Classic Car Gallery is proud to present this rare Mercedes Benz 560 SEC. Back in 1990 this was Mercedes' flagship sports coupe and carried a pricetag of over $70,000!!! It was the top of the line and most expensive Mercedes you could buy at the time. The car features the venerable, 5.6L V8 mated to an overdrive 4 speed automatic transmission. The rear end featured a limited slip differential. This SEC is originally a california car with only 116,000 original miles on the clock. It boasts a clean Carfax with no gaps in mileage. This gorgeous Benz has received more than $10,000 worth of recent maintenance and repairs all done by Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield, Ct. The following is a list of some the repairs;
8/29/16 - OEM radiator
7/29/16 - Fuel pump relay
7/12/16 - Secondary air pump pulley, all drive belts
3/17/15 - Voltage protection relay, idle speed control module, transmission service, front and rear brake pads, brake fluid flush
5/28/13 - Full A/C service and new OEM compressor
4/16/13 - Full power steering box and pump reseal, pressure accumulator for suspension,
The car runs and drives as well as she looks; the engine is smooth and still has the famous Mercedes power and torque. The Anthracite Gray Metallic paint on this 560 is in good original condition for the age and mileage. There are minor blemishes around the car that are to be expected.
The Gray leather interior is in wonderful condition and belies the age of the car. All mechanical systems work as they should. The AC blows cold (recently dealer serviced) and the climate control works as designed. The seat belt presenters work well as do all of the seat controls. The seat bolsters are in nice condition and the back seats look as though they were never used. The wood veneers are in good condition but do have some fading and mild cracking. With the recent dealer service, there can't be many 560 SEC's on the market today that are in this mechanical and cosmetic condition. Enjoy this car today as all it needs is an enthusiastic new owner! Feel free to call 203 256 9800 or email Steven@classicargallery.com if we can answer any of your questions.
