1962 Mercedes-Benz Other Additional Info:

1962 original Unimog 404s. This Unimog was imported from the swiss military where it was first used briefly as a troop carrier then as a tool truck on a military base. Its use on base was extremely minimal, Mechanically it is immaculate, with only 4561 km (2834 Miles) on the Odo its ready for a lot more use. Everything is original on the engine except for a new ignition kit that allows you to use spark plugs that aren't the original Bosch plugs that are harder to get. Its a 6 speed shift on the fly manual transmission with extremely low gearing for technical off road terrain. As well 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, and differential locks. The exterior has a matte military green paint that was just put on it. The original paint had a little bit of chipping so this was more of a touch up paint job. No rust except for small amounts of surface rust underneath the truck. As mentioned before everything is original, including the original wrench set, axe, pick axe, shovel, greece gun, jack, and more. Such a unique and fun vehicle, turns heads everywhere you go. I have seen some use them as awesome advertising vehicles, some just have bought them as a classic antique collectors truck, what we have used them for is their off road capabilities. Absolutely incredible for rock crawling. Its unique portal axels give it tons of ground clearance, its low gearing allows slow steady crawling over technical terrain, and its long wheel base gives quite the advantage. Ill include a link to a video of a previous unimog that we owned and pimped out a little bit for off roading. Really you will not find a car like this in this condition anywhere else. Please dont hesitate to call or text to ask questions! Price is OBO.
