One So. Cal Owner for 35 years, 100% stock

1981 Mazda RX-7 GS Additional Info:

I am the second owner of this RX-7. It had one So. Cal owner for over 35 years. The car passed smog and I registered it in July 2016. I drove the car less than 1000 miles and decided not to pay insurance,registration and smog test in 2018. The car is registered non-operational, so no late fees. If thebuyer is in California they will be responsible for smog test needed to register the car. The car is super fun to drive and revs like crazy. Freeway speeds of 80 mph no problem. I believe it is original paint except for the bumpers ( paint back then did not stick good to plastic). The paint has great shine but has a few touched up stone chips and flaws. Great interior, original dash, working clock and radio. Newer Bridgestone Potenza tires. Factory pop out sunroof with original cover as well as atinted glass option.Factory Air Conditioning, but not working. When wheel is turned and locked you need to wiggle the key to unlock. Only other thing to fix is power radio antenna(has powe, but wont go up). Very small bit of rustin rear glass hatchdrainchannel in area you can't see, easy DYI fix. Price is going up on RX-7s and one just sold on a popular web site for over 10,000 and it wasn't a So Cal car! I will work with your shipper to get car to you for out of area buyers.
