1977 Mazda REPU Additional Info:

1977 Mazda REPU pickup truck.
This is a VERY original truck with 96k miles.
1977 was the year of the larger cab and the 5 speed transmission.
Exterior:
Originally blue that was unfortunately scuffed and primered over. Some rust in the rockers, bed floor, and a few other places, but not bad at all for this era truck. See pictures for detailed shots of those areas. Floors are very good with only one small spot in the corner of the driver's side footwell. Original heavy duty bumper comes with the truck, but is not mounted. Wheel center caps come with the truck as well. Front emblem isn't on in the pictures, but is installed now. Front tires have plenty of tread, but some dry rot, rear tires are in great shape.
Interior:
New blue carpet included, but not installed. All lights and gauges work, even the RPM warning buzzer! Original radio is missing. Seat needs recovered and dash pad is cracked, but door panels and original headliner are in very good shape. The larger cab for 77 is roomy and more comfortable than the early trucks.
Mechanical:
All original 13b engine with 5 speed transmission runs and shifts great. The clutch was done less than 20k miles ago. New shocks. New rear brake wheel cylinders. New shocks.
This truck runs, drives, stops, steers, and handles very well. You can drive at interstate speeds with no problems at all.
I am the 4th owner. The original owner traded it into the the local Mazda dealer in 1978 with 9k miles. The 2nd owner purchased it then, trading in an RX3, and kept it until 2015 and put the majority of the miles on it. The 3rd owner was a friend of the family of the 2nd owners and drove it sparingly, then sold it to me close to a year and a half ago.
This truck comes with the original owners manual, warranty/service book (with dealer stamps), sales invoice when sold to the 2nd owner in 78, and even the original window sticker!
I can assist in loading for shippers and could also deliver to a hub for international shipment, at additional cost, if desired.
