Clean title. For Sale by owner.CarFax was clean. I am the 4th owner.

Everything is stock except the added CD Changer. The car is cute as a button and in a simple old school color it truely reflects the spirit of the roadsters of a by-gone era. So much so it frequently gets compliments from strangers when I parked at the beach to watch the sunset. I could understand why people react to it so positively because I enjoyed looking at it even when parked.

At 18k miles, everything is tight and it drives like new. Engine is in great condition. Transmission is smooth and shifts are precise. Passed smog checks with flying colors.

The paint is in good condition. There is no rust on any panels. There issurface rust on the suspension hardware which is to be expected.

Top is in good condition. No rips or tears. No leaks. Rear window is clear and is pliable, not hardened. Mazda logo on front bumper, VIN stickers on fenders, doors, hood and trunk lid. When I take the car out and if it were to be parked for more than a couple hours the car cover goes on, every time.

The car has never worked a hard day. I have both this and a 1995 M Edition and they are toy cars. I lease an OTM for commuting, errands and to take the shopping cart dings. Over the 4 years I average just below 1,000 miles per year. It usually starts with a cruise to the beach to warm up, then a few miles on the freeway for an Italian tune up and a cool down cruise home.

The bad: A/C stopped working on my way home after the purchase.Left front fender had a dentthat was repaired. It is about 2 inches in diameter. Paint matched well and had held up well in the 4 years I own it. Front bumper got the dimples from the license plate bolts. Few dings and scratches. Top is ungluedat the center bow of the frame. No paperwork or history other than what was on CarFax I ordered at time of purchase.

Reason for sale: When I bought this I meant to keep both this and the 1995 M Edition. Over the years I find that I have less and less time to drive them and to take care of them. I think it is time to let someone take care of Mr. Smurf.

A nice Mariner Blue is getting more and more rare. Most of those running around are usually modded or beat to death. A super low miles stock one is a rare find. It has taken a long time for the Mariner Blue to finally establish it's place in the short list of distinguished NAs.

The car is for sale locally so listing may end early.
