1989 Mazda Porter Cab Additional Info:

1989 Mazda Porter Cab - JDM Kei-Truck - Free Ro-Ro Shipping To Your Local Port!
This auction is for a 1989 Mazda Porter Cab kei-truck. The car is currently in Japan and is 100% legally importable in the US and Canada.
THIS IS LEGALLY REGISTRABLE AS A NORMAL CAR IN ALL STATES BUT CALIFORNIA AND HAWAII. ALL STATES BUT THOSE TWO.
People tend not to understand the difference between a keitruck that was imported as a farm vehicle and a keitruck imported as a car. Farm vehicle are not registrable in all states and are not allowed to take highways. They can be younger than 25 years old. Keitruck older than 25 year old at the time of importation can be registered as regular cars in the US just like any other imported vehicle this age. This truck will be imported as a regular vehicle and is over 25 year old.
The price includes FREE Ro-Ro shipping to pretty much any Ro-Ro capable port in North America or Europe! (double check with me just in case first but 95% of Ro-Ro ports are usable). Everything is explained in detail in the "Shipping" section of the description. Other destinations than North America and Europe are possible but please contact us before to make sure it applies for the free shipping.
A reserve price is set for this auction, but it is very low.
Due to eBay restriction and Japanese VIN number that do not fit eBay standards (17-digits VIN), it is listed as "11111111111111". The actual VIN of the car is PC56T-447325.
DESCRIPTION:
This keitruck really has 29000km. It's a one owner truck that simply wasn't used much. It's in absolute perfect mechanical condition. Finding such old truck in this shape is very rare. "Shaken" history show that it has been driven 300km or so in thep ast 4 to 5 years. In spite of the small amount of use, it stayed legally registered and safetied all these years.
Of course, the bed has minor impacts, but this is all normal for these.
100% unrestored and with its original paint too.
A small impact was repaired on the right front end of the truck (visible on the pictures).
The truck drives and shifts like new! This a RWD truck.
Please check out both videos for more detailed informations.
Recent maintenance includes an oil and transmission change along with a couple hours of test drive. Nothing else was needed on the truck. It got test driven a for a couple hours and showed no problem whatsoever. (A longer test drive was needed to make sure this truck was in perfect condition and reliable... As you can see on the last picture, it has only been driven 300km in the past 4 years)
If you wonder how such kei truck keeps up with traffic (a question often asked by customers), here is a quick little video of another keitruck we have, with a similar 550cc non-turbo engine, on the freeway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nZpCNT7JdM
SHIPPING:
As mentioned in the title, the final auction price will include FREE Ro-Ro shipping to any Ro-Ro capable port in the US, Canada or Europe. Other destinations are also available, but please contact me beforehand to make sure it applies to the free shipping.
The car is currently in Japan and will ship from the port of Kobe.
If you don't know Ro-Ro shipping, it's simply the most common way to ship cars around the world. Special ships are used for this, converted into gigantic floating parking lots filled with cars. Not all ports can receive and accept Ro-Ro, but most do. If you are not sure if your local port accepts it, just contact me and I will look into it for you.
You will have to import the car yourself in your country. It is easily importable in the US and Canada, though people living in California might have problems registering it due to state laws being a lot more strigent than elsewhere in the country. No problem for any other state. If you live in Europe or anywhere else, please check before bidding that the car is fully importable, as your country might have different restrictions for imports based on how old the car is. I know it is no problem in countries like Holland, Germany, France or the UK, but it's still better to check before doing anything as I don't know all the import regulations of all the countries.
Overall, we are not responsible for the importation in your country, but we'll be happy to help if needed.
Paperwork of the car (original title, bill of sale, certificate of exportation...etc) along with the Bill of Lading (paper needed to take delivery of the car at your local port) will be shipped to you via FedEx express mail, 1 week to 10 days after the ship leaves Japan. This is standard procedure, the Bill of Lading is only created by the shipping company around this time.
Obviously your port may charge you extra fees for unloading the vehicle and you will have to pay import taxes. On the other hand, all the costs associated with the car leaving Japan are included in the final auction price.
PAYMENT:
A $500 paypal deposit is required within 48-hours of the end of the auction. The rest of the payment will be made via bank transfert to Amagasaki Motor.

ABOUT US:
We've been in the automotive industry for over 85 years and a few generations in Kobe's area in Japan (Amagasaki to be precise). For about a year we started branching out from our "Skaken" (Japanese car inspection) and regular car repair business and started working as a dealership. A few months ago, we decided to start exporting cars outside of the country, working either with importers or private party.
And now... LOTS of pictures!
