1968 Lotus Elan Additional Info:

This 1968 Lotus Elan race car has an early racing history beginning in the 1970's and competed in the 2015 season. The Elan has been recently rebuilt and was tested at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. It also recently competed in the Vintage Fall Festival Event at CTMP in September 2015.
This race car comes with a log book. The paint and body are in great condition. Underneath is a very clean, rust free Spider chassis. The roll cage is newer and is completely welded with a Kirkey seat and 5 point harness. The rebuild included a complete reconstruction with all new parts of the engine. Also, a new clutch assembly was mounted to an early 5 speed transmission. It has a freshly rebuilt rear differential. The car has 4 piston front breaks, dual pin calipers and 2 piston calipers in the rear. The car is equipped with coil-over suspension in the front and rear. There is a fuel cell with braided lines as well as brand new windscreen. The car comes with 14x6 Minator wheels.
This is a beautiful Lotus race car and a fantastic drive.
