This gorgeous example is the last year of the full-sized luxury car, and the last series produced before the Town Car moniker became a separate badge. The car is finished in White with a Dove Gray padded rear vinyl roof and sumptuous turquoise plush velour seating.

This 4 owner vehicle shows 77,000 pampered miles. The car is equipped with an optional CB radio and digital quadrasonic 8-track stereo. Owned by an enthusiast collector, this vehicle has been well maintained and has had many upgrades to improve the reliability and drivability of this classic. Documented receipts and history is included going back to 1980s. The sale includes the original build sheet, owner’s manual, jack, spare tire and many extra parts. This car recently passed a MA inspection and is registered, insured, and on the road.

External – Body is in excellent condition, no dents or major scratches. There is evidence of rust repair in the front portion of both fenders, behind the front tires. Factory Repair panels are included in the sale. Paint is overall good with the hood showing a respray, making this a ten footer car. All lines are straight and all chrome is intact and in good condition, with minimal misting. There is no rust or rot on the car. To my knowledge, the car is accident free and the engine and tranny are original and numbers matching. Glass is perfect, electric windows work. All lights work, including opera lamps.

Interior – Front seats are 50/50 split bench seats in Turquoise plush velour. Carpets, door panels and trim are Turquoise, carpets are new. Headliner is perfect, and no cracks on the dashboard. The radio is the optional digital quadrasonic 8-track, am-fm stereo. Power options include both front seats, antenna, windows, locks, trunk, heated mirrors, cruise control, CB radio, and courtesy light package. A/C blows ice cold and has been converted to R134A.

Mechanical – Car will cruise all day at 85mph. I have owned this car for 3 years, and purchased it from a former collector who had it in his family. I am not a dealer or speculator, and this is a personal car. I am available for any questions, and can provide more photos. This car has been well maintained and garaged most of her life. I have done regular services on the car, including oil and filters. I have replaced or upgraded the following: Front and rear brakes, new shocks all around, rear springs, new gas tank and fuel sending unit, oil pan, brake lines, rebuilt the steering box, replaced steering knuckle, rebuilt carburetor, performed full tune up, emergency brake repair, wheel bearings, shaft seal, radiator, radiator hoses, thermostat, belts, idler arm and battery. The padded 1/2 vinyl top has been replaced in Dove Gray, and a custom dual exhaust was installed. The car is equipped with the iconic factory Lincoln Continental turbine wheels and full whitewall tires. The car was recently detailed.
