Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller

If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont

bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on

wondering if we are real or not.

FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback

on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also

shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating

for a reason,... try trusting it.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

I call it a survivor because its not been heavily modded over the yrs.
Parked back in 1988, the last owner says this truck use to be driven from
Tucson to Rocky Point Mexico many times just for fun. Odometer
shows aprox 50k on it. (not sure if its original or not)

Youll find alot of dust on our vehicles from the
AZ climate, but you wont find alot of rot.
*** Possibly just media blast
underneath it to knock-off the surface rust and yrs of crud.

Ive been all under and over this truck and cant find any rot.

Being an AZ truck the floors and rockers are in great shape of course.

SEE PICS below ! We have nothing to hide and plenty of pics
to prove how clean it is under this truck....
WHY buy an eastcoast rust bucket

IF YOU DONT HAVE TO ~!?

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND

apparently some people

who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.

So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to

make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.

Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!

DRIVETRAIN: factory 460 4v - C6 auto, starts all the time
and runs pretty good actually. Ive noticed when you first step on
the gas from sitting at a light, it has pinging for the first 10% of
throttle, but then after about 15% throttle all the way up its
quiet. Power feels the way it should be too. Trans shifts fine

also. Shows about 88k on the odometer, I believe it to possibly
be original, not sure. But the car was always a grandpas 2nd
car since the 70s. In the last 20 yrs, it may have got 500 miles on
it. Also, when I turn it off, sometimes it runs on a few seconds.
I ran it low on gas and then put fresh gas in it the other day and
it helped alot. I may put timing light on it this week to check it
out. But it always starts fine, hot or cold. Choke and hi-idle work
fine too still. Has AC, but its not been charged for many yrs.
PS and Cruise too.

INTERIOR:take a look at the pics. Mostly all original and showing
alot of wear n tear from the AZ heat and sun. Acceptable for a daily
driver or weekend cruiser. Dr side PW not working. Door panels and
headliner showing most of the wear. Dash it cracked too.
Please check out all the pics below. Not tried the power seats yet.

EXTERIOR: the body very straight for its age, and no signs of real
rot to worry about on the car. I few small bubble around the glass
I think where the most I could find. Rockers, floors etc are in amazing
shape. The Pastel Lime paint is about 80% original The RF fender was
repainted back in the 80s for a minor fender bender. It is very dry and
think in spots. Patina is starting to take over. Chrome and stainless
are in really nice shape for a car this old. Back in the 90s the vinyl top
was removed and the top was painted white. There was no rust at the
time and still none to speak of here either. Was a good idea, even in AZ.
If you look closely at the pics, youll see some minor damage-dents on the
passenger side door below the body line and rr quarter panel. Also a
small dent on the dr door too lower edge. All the glass is good, the ft
windshield is actually a PPG unit.

My guess if you wanted to, you could media blast off all the surface rust
under the truck for a cleaner look (or just leave it as is)

SUSPENSION: the suspension looks to be all factory and or
original other then the shocks. Rides super smooth going down
the road and actually handles well too for as huge as it is. No
weird sounds coming from the front end. The older gentleman who
owned it for the last 40 yrs always fixed things as it was needed
up until he passed in the late 90s. Since then its just sat around
most of its life. More cosmetics needing attention then anything
else. Tires on good shape treadwise, but they have to be around
10 yrs old. Spare etc all in the trunk too. I wheelcover missing.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a

Mostly just surface rust under the car, making working on it
a breeze if the need arises.

There you go, probably The BEST represented Marquis's
ON EBAY FOR SALE.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.

until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
