1978 Lincoln Continental Coupe Additional Info:

One of a kind 1978 Lincoln Continental Coupe. Very unique special order vehicle. This very original and immaculate Continental was ordered with only a few options, back from a time when your Uncle Frank "didn't need all that crap" on his car. Note: This is not a Town Coupe! Sale includes the original build sheet. (Even has the owners manual in plastic.) Options are limited to the 460 V8, leather, tilt wheel, cruise control, power bench seat, power locks, and body side moldings. From the pictures, you'll notice it was ordered without the typical vinyl top, corner vent windows, and stereo radio that you see in virtually every example of these land yachts still in existence. It even has the basic black vinyl floor mats in perfect condition. None of those fancy cake-eater carpeted mats for this girl! And hopefully you won't need the passenger side view mirror, that was an option Uncle Frank deemed as unnecessary as stereo. Basic AM/FM and a glance over the shoulder was all he needed. You can drive or show this one anywhere. It's a lot of fun to explain at shows that "Town Car/Coupe" was an option package and not standard on the Continental. I haven't found another non-vinyl top Continental. If you have one, please send a picture. 44,500 miles, over $4000 in recent mechanical receipts including 2yr/24k transferable warranty, ICE COLD A/C, everything works as designed, even passes Nevada Smog Test. New plugs, wires, distributor, carburetor, EGR, fuel pump, belts, hoses, filters, fluids, brakes, and beautiful Vogue tires. Fly in to Las Vegas, cruise the strip, and drive her home! Priced to sell quickly, well below other vehicles in this category and condition. Shipping not included, but I can assist in coordinating transport if needed. Truly a wonderful slice ofAmerica. I strongly encourage pre-sale inspections, you won't be disappointed.
