1988 Land Rover Range Rover Additional Info:

Used 1988 Land Rover/Range Rover Classic. Purchased in 2002 with 97,560 miles. Used locally for the most part, some light off-roading; mostly groomed logging trails and was not used for towing. This vehicle is sold as-is. To be transparent, I didn't candy-wrap this truck - what is seen is what it is. It does need paint, it is not restored. I would recommend picking it up using a tow service, car carrier or flatbed. The vehicle runs, and the engine is strong, but it has not been on the road for a few years, so I won't say it is it is ready for a road trip. Needs some bodywork; the R/F corner was clipped by someone and not addressed. No major body damage, but a few dings and dents. There is rust. It did have hail damage prior to my owning it, which was repaired via PDR as the prior owner told me. I am the second owner. It had the typical "speedo bounce" which has been repaired with a new angle drive and cluster shim to prevent issues from sunlight and heat. The radiator core was replaced with a custom 3-row (original 2-row) core to original mounting brackets.13CU EFI system means you can repair it yourself - pre-OBD Engine Management. Solid axles, coil sprung, Center Diff Lock. The headlining needs to be recovered. Seats are pretty good considering age, some cracking of the leather. Good vehicle for off-road use, or as a project for restoration. The picture shows the diff lock knob missing, but it is not and the shifter is not seized, as is often the case, Tires (Kelly Safari Trex, 225/75/16) have some minor cracking, but tread is 10/32 on all four. I'm not asking a lot for a 4x4 that runs and drives, but I want to make sure bidders know that this is not a daily driver until the vehicle has been looked over thoroughly. Again, ideally - this would be an off-road vehicle or for farm use. Can it be restored? Yes. I've seen worse vehicles restored, but it can be expensive. Happy bidding! The winner will get a new oil filter and drain washer to get them started, and I will include 9 pints of gear oil to change the diffs and transfer box, something I was planning on doing just before I stopped driving it. Thanks!

Sorry, I should have mentioned it, and a bidder just asked me about the title. The title is clear and I have it in my possession. It should go without saying, but the winning bidder will have to perform a title transfer before taking possession of the vehicle.
