With a restored Defender 90, you get the best of both worlds - the classic Land Rover Defender looks on the exterior combined with premium workmanship and improved reliability. Please note this vehicle is located in Florida. This vehicle is the result of a multi-year restoration, with the majority of the recent work completed by Simple Man Customs (SMC) in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. The interior is fitted to a very high standard with custom Oxford Heritage Style Front Seats withEuropean Design Leather/Cloth and a challenging fitment of backup camera visible in the review mirror. In order to address the cabin comfort, an extremely thorough installation of soundproofing was completed in the vehicle. This included pulling all the carpet in the vehicle and soundproofing the entire interior up the windows, tunnel, and a custom starry night sky over the rear seats. For further comfort, Corbeau seat heaters were installed for frontseats.A very thorough PPI was completed on the vehicle, and upon receiving the results, the vehicle was sent off to Continental Imports in Gainesville to have any futures concerns addressed. Included in the mechanical reconditioning was a new fuel tank, bump stops, fuel lines, and bell housing. Please see the photos at the end of the gallery. TheDefender 90 sits on its original and totally solid chassis with the benefit of a low miles Land Rover 2.5 liter 300tdi Diesel Engine resulting in better reliability and drivability. A fully Reconditioned LT77 5-speed manual gearbox with the addition of power steering makes for a very well balanced Defender. Features of the most recent restoration work include: AC kit, New glass and seals, Front seat heaters, $5k sound system installed, Front and rear sway bars (Terrafirma stabilizer up front), New springs and Bilstein shocks, New battery, cables, locks, steering wheel, steps, rear bumper, trailer wiring, and heater blower, RIGID LED headlights and other factory fog lights with matched color spectrum, Factory heater blower motor, New transfer case with better rati, New custom door handles and window cranks, Boost pin for higher HP and torque, Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 tires on factory steel wheels, New tachometer in dash, Upgraded alternator, New windshield wiper motor, and added Tow Hooks.
