1988 Land Rover Range Rover Additional Info:

This is my personal vehicle that I have decided to part ways with. As an 88 is has age and with age in this case comes more good than bad - no fancy electronics to worry about failing like ABS systems, Air suspension systems, Borg Warner transfer cases etc, here comes the true Range Rover Classic that has the best and most desirable features like the LT-230 transfer case with diff-lock, manual braking, and a few other add on's that make this a very sought after 4x4. Starting with the overall aesthetic of the vehicle, originally silver the truck is now bed liner matte black with no rust or dents, used primarily as a weekend warrior for camping & fishing expeditions we have taken very good care of the truck - from bumper to bumper you will not find anything out of place, this 32 year old girl is obviously well maintained and needs absolutely nothing. Raised on a pricey 2" Old Man Emu suspension system (springs and shocks) offered the best ride quality and durability on the market paired with RARE Antique Land Rover military wheels & BFG Mud Terrains to get you into the wilderness and back home with ease and confidence. The drivetrain is in immaculate condition, the 3.5L V8 is one of the healthiest ones I've ever seen as is the LT230 transfer case and ZF transmission. All regular maintenance done - plugs, wires, cap, rotor, MSD coil, all fluids, ball joints, steering damper, filters, muffler (sounds mean) and proper octane fuel always used (premium), I would drive this Classic to New York and back no worries. This truck is not for the faint of heart or the "true" collector wanting to get groceries only, this Classic in particular is a beast and wants to get dirty and stay dirty.
That all said, everything on the vehicle is in driver condition, NO it does not have a tachometer but it does have everything else - fuel, water temp, and speedometer (the truck has been sitting due to I've been needing to replace the odometer/speed cable and have not gotten to it but the miles on the odometer are true and correct). As you see in the pictures the seats are 32 years old as is the headliner etc, but keep in mind she runs like a new vehicle so looks can wait. Has the original rear parcel cover in the back and the original brush guard in the front along with rock sliders/steps on the side and a security switch installed to start the vehicle after key is placed in the ignition (anti-theft) otherwise it is all stock. Carpet is clean, dash is all in-tact, glass is good with limo tint for privacy (No I did not superimpose clouds in the windows, pictures actually turned out that way naturally). Questions? please ask!
