1992 Land Rover Defender 90 Additional Info:

Land Rover Defender 90 - Army Edition: VIN # SALLDHAC7JA913234
A classic 1992 Land Rover Defender 90, ex. British Army - with everything you'd expect, and much more.
Her service history shows that this beauty has been maintained with love and respect for her long and distinguished life, including an active stint in the army in the Scottish regiments as a royal electrical mechanical engineers convoy vehicle. The clues are all there; a front facing machine gun mount, foldable front wind screen, convoy lights, convoy flag, rifle racks, map reading lights, Land Rover Wolf seats, rear bench seats and new tires on Wolf rims - all standard military fittings. The entire exterior body is aluminum, including the doors and hood. It is a convertible with the roof being removable as well to make it completely open, like a hard top on a jeep wrangler. I have a clear New York State issued title and all paperwork used for importation and registration are available for historic reasons. The full military history is printed from British military files and comes with the Defender. It has the original military plates inside as well as the road legal British plates you see in the photographs.
There are extra refinements too, from the conversion to a 1992 Land Rover 200 turbo diesel engine with its alloy cylinder head, improved turbo charged performance, inter-cooler and direct fuel injection. Add to that new disc brakes and pads installed, stainless steel exhaust and steering components fully overhauled.
And, to a diesel like this, 100,000 miles is just breaking it in!
This is your chance to own a piece of British history - and quite simply a masterpiece of an example.
The odometer shows 167,098 kilometers (103,829 miles) on the vehicle with the 1992 four cylinder 200 TDI. It comes with the shovel and pick axe on the rear door; just as it looks in the pictures. The convoy light works with all the controls operable and has a cover for protection/ storage. The gun racks between the seats are also in full working order. The Defender is fitted with new Wolf seats, Wolf rims and rear bench seats.
Any further information is available on request. I'm very flexible on working with you for shipping and getting the vehicle to you. Our location is a warehouse with a full array of loading equipment and docking/receiving for tractor trailers.

The VIN is actually SALLDVAC7JA913234 as you can see on the title photo I added. The V was replaced with H accidentally. Just an update; and I added two photos that were requested of the interior lights at night. You can see the small map light and the work light that is moveable above the driver seat. It has two clamps that hold it in position on the rail below the roof so you can place it anywhere in the back.

I've added a few photos of the military license plate and convoy flag. You can see on the front bumper there are two spots to put flags into it and the center pin for towing the vehicle as well or attaching chains to pull things from the mud. There are some pictures of the engine and the new upgraded electric coolant fan, as well as a picture of the turbo and waste gate. There are new photos of the interior including the battery compartment under the passenger seat and the fire extinguisher that is from the British Military.
