1969 Land Rover Defender Additional Info:

This 1969 series 2A is custom buil, and restored .Using new defender, series, and custom parts. The original engine completely rebuil, and has 4k on it. New 0.20 pistons bearings etc.New stage 2 cam and lifters . The head completely rebuilt.8:1 compression Transmission shifts as it should .Also rare fairy over drive. Both have custom one off shifter knobs.Paint custom .Interior custom, with Defender seat that reclines. Also custom made4 " driver seat extensions. A 6ft 2" driver will fit comfortably .Custom stereo,with 10" sub woofer, that need an amp hooked up.It sounded Awesome.But amp for sub,no longer there.All wiring ran .Custom gauges, tach with shift light, Rear exterior spot light .Tuffycenter console. Custom floor mats .Also has mounts for CB antennas.Custom one of, 15 x 8 inch rim, chromed and painted body color. Rocky Mountain door windows. Rocky Mountain Parabolic spring, withPro Comp shocks.Also 5 BF Goodrich mud terrain tires.They are very quiet. No humming! Top speed is 75 MPH.65 all day, and is very comfortable. New exhaust from Atlantic British 4 years ago.Needs some exhaust paint .There is so many other things done, but no space to write.This truck has won multiple awards, Including1st and second place at The Vanderbilt Museum Invitationalconcours.MG and Jaguar Club shows. Many awards, and best of show at local events.This truck is always garaged.Total Attention getter ! I have owned it for 13 years .I don't have the time to enjoy,maintain, or work onit anymore .Things to be done are transmission gaskets and o rings.needs a washer tank with motor. Never replaced it because its never out in the rain,or dirty. Chassis could use some touch uppaint.Last time was5 years ago.Im a proud owner of this truck.My hope is, for someone to enjoy this as much as I have, And go to a good home. I also haveassorted extra parts, that will go with it.This truck is sold as "As in condition" .
