1991 Defender 90 LHD 200TDi Left Hand only 7,600 miles

1991 Land Rover Defender 90 LHD Additional Info:

This Defender is a 1991 ex-MoD D90200TDi/ LT77 with ~7,600 miles that I have owned since June of 2016. The truck came to the USA around 1992 and sat on a farm in a garage as a work truck (hence the rough paint) for 23 years, which explains the low mileage and need of cosmetic work (paint and a few rivets filled.)
VIN- SALLDVAF8HA466752- matches on engine bay and chassis.
I believe I am the third owner, but the VIN situation (as you know) in the States is beyond complicated with these older Landys. Most rubber parts in engine and mechanically have been replaced in the last year. This was done given that is what usually goes with ageing of rubber parts.
Cosmetically- the truck needs a dashboard, minor waves straightened on the panels, and filling in a few rivet holes in the rear tailgate. This is all minor and this truck is a perfect donor truck as mechanically and rust-wise, it is in great shape.
Mechanically- the truck runs and starts as a 200TDi and LT77 with 7,600 miles should. My Landy mechanic has said repeatedly the engine starts runs and shifts stronger than any 200TDi he has seen. The LT77 reverse gear is finicky- it may be a minor fix, but it would need to be seen. All forward gears shift tight as a 7,600 mile transmission should.
Tires and wheels- brand new Cooper Discoverer A/Ts on re-lacquered OEM steelies.
The doors are both recently from the UK with zero rust.
The top is a brand new Exmoor (for Paddock) canvas.
The windscreen is a NTO (new take off) with original Pilkington glass.

The only rust underneath is superficial surface and would come off with a pressure wash or wirebrush. Perks of sitting in storage for 2 decades!
