1994 Land Rover Range Rover County LWB Sport Utility 4-Door Additional Info:

94 Range Rover Classic County LWB
Paint: Beluga Black
Interior: Dark Sable
Very desirable model year. Last year of the traditional dash and first year of factory 24 spline axles. The LWB was only offered in 93-95. Beluga Black with Dark Sable was only offered on the LWB model. This was a fully optioned vehicle, complete with the A/D/S sound system. The truck was purchased new in late 1993 from South Bay Land Rover by the family and spent it’s first 100k miles under dealer servicing. Subsequent service was performed by Doc Auto in Hermosa Beach and by the owner.Original book, with all manuals is included, with original Radio Code Card. The vehicle has been used extensively to travel the western US, cresting numerous backcountry trails over 12,000 ft in the rocky mountains, a traverse of northern Nevada by dirt road, trails in moab, Escalante, Canyonlands, the Copper Basin and Sawtooth Range of Idaho, Death Valley National Park, Mojave Road, Canyon de Chelly with Navajo guides, the Great Basin of Nevada, Bonneville, the wilds of Wyoming, White Sands New Mexico, Western Texas, etc.
Several years ago the truck received an overhaul, including new heads on the original 4.2 liter motor, new ABS booster pump, new Old Man Emu springs and shocks front and rear. The truck has HD high clearance tie rod and drag link from Keith at RoverTracks. Superwinch ep9.0 winch mounted in an ARB bull bar. The bull bar has mounting studs for a high lift jack and a small work table for mounting a vice. Setup for dual batteries with isolator switch under the hood. Front differential guard. All four wheel plus the spare are 16 x 7 American Racing Steel rims with 265/75 Goodyear MTR tires in great shape. The original Borg Warner transfer case was replaced with the stronger gear-driven LT230 transfer case which provides selectable center differential lock. The drivetrain is in great condition, having never broken an axleshaft, differential or joint. The heater core was replaced approximately 7 years ago. The AC compressor belt has been removed to disable the system as it would not hold a charge and was not needed.
This interior was only available for 2 years, and only with the Beluga Black or Alpine White color on LWB models making it somewhat rare. The leather is in great condition for the age, however, the leather steering wheel wrap shows considerable wear. There are no rips or tears in the leather, and it was conditioned regularly to keep it supple. All 3 original floor mats are present as are all interior trim items forward of the luggage compartment. That being said it is nearly a 25 year old vehicle and the in the interior is far from perfect. It has become a bit musty from sitting, but a good cleaning will reveal the care it received throughout the years.

Unfortunately, the vehicle is not currently running. The truck has an electrical fault preventing the injectors from firing and it has been off the road for the last few years. The most likely culprit is a poor ground behind the left side of the motor. The ECU has been tested and that is not the problem. The fuel pump will run with power applied directly to it. Despite the owner’s history with the vehicle, his interest has migrated to early series Land Rovers. This is an ideal vehicle for somebody with knowledge of the 14cux system and a desire for a very capable off-road machine. Please be aware that the vehicle has been sitting and will need revival in order to make it a daily driver again. Apart from the issue with the electrical system there may be other items that need to be addressed. Assume the systems will need to be gone through and assessed for safety and proper function. The undercarriage is solid with only surface rust and corrosion. No major rust issues with the body, however, it does have numerous dings, dents and scratches. Mostly original paint apart from some areas that were touched up/repaired. Currently registered Non-Op with a clear California title. Please examine the photos carefully for condition. Sold AS IS without warranty expressed or implied.
