1976 Lancia Scorpion Additional Info:

I have two 1976 Lancia Scorpions for sale. One I used for parts, he last 3 VIN# are 975 this is the almost complete one and its Ford Chrome Yellow and black with a brown/tan interior. The VIN# 531 is one I used for parts. They both have a good Indiana titles

The yellow one is redone from the ground up. I removed everything that would come off the car. I stripped the car down to bare metal sand blasted the underside, runk, ngine compartment, nd coated the complete underside of the body, ngine compartment, runk lid, ngine lid and all suspension parts with Pro-15 black.
I install new fabricated floor boards, river and passenger side. And coated the entire floor and back bulkhead with Pro-15 silver and install new insulation. I welded up the rear frame where they rust out on the rear engine mount. I did not install new suspension parts, ut I did check out everything to make sure they were ok and reinstalled them.

I resealed all four struts and installed new mounting rubber and swivel bearings on the struts, span>rebuilt the calipers, nstalled new HP brake shoes, nd installed new rotors, nstalled new wheel bearings.

I also has a HP a new clutch. I have new brake master cylinder and clutch master cyl. in the boxes yet. I tried to repair the electric windows but at the time the parts were not available so I installed a manual window wind on the driver side and left the passenger side electric wind up. It still works but is very slow. I coated the exterior of the car with a DuPont topcoat clear coat in Ford Chrome Yellow.
This car redo was done from 1992 to 94 the car might have 10 miles on it since. I kind of did it because at the time I liked the way the car looked and wanted a challenge. The car had been sitting since, ither in my barn covered or in my shop covered. I oiled the engine once a year and also started it. I just got it cleaned up again and drove it in and out of the shop after sitting over two years again.
Engine. Is out of a 132, ts a 2.0lt.. I had it bored out .10 over and installed 9.1 compression forged pistons, installed what they called 40-80 road cams, ported the head and installed new intake & exhaust valves with HP springs, ew oil pump. I removed the AC and almost everything that goes with it from the car and all EGR stuff. I still have all AC and EGR parts. I installed two new Webers 42DCNF carbs. It has headers and muffler going out to the four exhaust pipes. I install a Jacobson HP Ignition system using the original distributor>never got around to upgrading the dist. to electronic.
Interior. I had the seats redone there not a leather redo. I installed new carpet. Resealed all windows. I added a temp. and oil AutoMeter gauges. I also have the outside mirrors. Everything works on the car. I tied all light and other grounds together and ran a main wire to the frame then to the battery. That took care of weak and not working lights, nd charging system which Fiat and Lancia are noted for bad grounds.
This car with a little work is road worthy it runs strong. I say it has at least 150hp. I have all original parts for it. I also have a recondition set of 5>14” Montecarlo rims for the car still sitting in the boxes. There worth $1200.oo at least buy them self.
I have both original 1800cc engines and transmissions for both cars. The parts car is just that, used it for parts. Which I could pick and choose which where the better of the two. The parts car does not have seats for it. Also the parts car has a cracked windshield. I also have all the AC parts for one car.

The yellow one runs but is not quit drive-able. It need a new master cylinder and slave clutch cylinder which I have new in there boxes. It also needs a shift rod bushing which broke on me pulling it out of the shop. I have most of all the badges that go on the car including the very rear Scorpion one and the Bata one.

Its not a pristine show car, here are some flaws in it. But I would have no worries driving it and then showing it in a car show. There are things I would do over if I wanted to keep it. But with some work you will have a ready to drive car. Or reinstall all the parts and have an original one.
You need to see all I have for the cars. I just lost interested in it. I am retired and I have other things on my agenda and this car is not one of them. It’s in the way and needs gone. I want to sell all in one lot. Make me an offer I can’t refuse!!!
