First of all thanks for checking out the jeep, I will do my best to explain everything to my ability I knew the problems the jeep had when I got it, I heard how rare the 2 door was and just wanted it and now I am willing to part with it.
I have a clean title signed and notarized
Let's start with the cons they the pros The jeep started having a knocking noise in the motor the jeep 4.2 l6 has 258k miles it is still drive-able I put thinker oil in it just so I could move the jeep on my property I do not drive it, The jeep has some rust in areas around the wheel wall, Underneath the driver floor and passenger there are rust holes on the driver side floor I added some sheet metal with self tapping screws so it would need replaced or new sheet metal welded in. The exhaust was removed and a glass pack cherry bomb was installed, Ac does not work not sure why, Also the valve cover is plastic which doesn't make sense if you want a metal valve cover you have to tap new holes from what i read online, So it leaks exhaust smell into the cab That is all the cons I am aware of now for the pros Heater works, 4/4 works well and tranny shifts very smooth, it just had a tranny service and oil change done, New battery, New starter, New starter relays, New starter solenoid, New battery cables, New coolant, Power steering works really well, Tires have 30 percent tread with after market steel wheels. Transfer case oil is good and front and rear dif is good.
The keys that came with the jeep are worn out and need replaced I have 3 keys and the keys for the doors are stiff might need graphite.
Windows are manual they role up and down no issues, The back window is electric and its works no issues and the rear door is a tail gate style also no issues.
Lights works, Brights work
No body damage excepts for the rust spots I mention
I am part of some facebook groups I shared this jeep and I had a lot of people telling me the rarity of this jeep and what it could sell for without a motor I also found 2 of them on youtube and they were in worst shape then this one selling for over 5k, I just want someone who appreciates classic jeeps and will hopefully put a different motor in and enjoy this jeep.
