1978 Jeep J20 Base Additional Info:

As much as I’ve enjoyed this truck, it’s time to move on from my J-20. My wife just had major surgery and a few things need to be sold.

1978 401 Quadra-Trac with 97680 miles.

I'm the 3rd owner, the previous owner had the original Turbo 400 rebuilt and new exhaust installed a year and a half ago and I’ve replaced a few items here and there. The original owner put a camper on it from day one I was told, so the tailgate is long gone.He also painted the top of the truck to match his camper, thus the paint wearing off, exposing the original lighter brown underneath it.

It has two tanks and is currently running off the auxiliary fuel tank as the original tank has a hose up on top that just started leaking. The original front bumper guard is included.

Hole thru the floorboard at your heel and some along the sill. Few rust spots in the bed but not as bad as most of these you’ll find. Brakes are good, truck drives fine, but needs continued love. Great dash pad, air blows coolish, drivers seat needs recovered. Transfer case Hi/Lo range lever a bit worn but Hi/Lo works.

18” XD wheels have some pitting, tires still have decent tread. Runs ok with the original carb but most people put an aftermarket carb on and I would suggest that as well.
