1994 Jeep Wrangler Additional Info:

1994 Jeep Wrangler Rock Crawler

This Jeep is a turn key crawler, and will go where you point it. It has good road manners and can be driven at highway speeds(within reason). It is titled and licensed in Florida. It tracks straight when you let go of the wheel and does not have Death Wobble. Several times I have driven the Jeep over 250 miles in one day, combination city, off road, highway without any problems (other than getting rained on).

The Jeep has exceptional articulation for old school SOA. The Stroked 4.0 (4.8) has plenty of power and the D44 E lockers F/R give you lots of traction. The NV4500 / Atlas Transfer case is an awesome combination, giving you a crawl ratio approaching 100-1 and bullet proof reliability . The Jeep is protected underneath by skid plates covering the engine, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank and both differentials. The rear D44 is trussed ( Under Cover Fab Works) The front housing is also trussed along with supported inner C’s. The front steering rod is an upgrade and is huge. Stock axles up front. The rear has Made in USA, Revolution 4340 Chrome Moly axles ( less than 100 miles on axles, bearings and seals).

The body is not perfect, it has the character marks, scratches and dents you would expect of Jeep that gets used off road. The frame is rust free and straight. The body is a 6/7, it does have some rust in the rear fender area, and around the windshield frame, the floors have been replaced in the past by PO. I have an extra hood and windshield frame (windshield frame is freshly painted and comes with new seals /trim) extra hood is NOT perfect.

There is a custom gauge cluster /dash by Double D Fabrication, with Auto Meter gauges and custom switches (with covers) for the lockers, Warn driving lights, winch power, and on board compressor. All wired thru an Spod relay box. The winch has power in/out switch on dash. There is also a five circuit Painless fuse box in glove box that has four open circuits. The seats are Corbeau with 5.0 racing harness. The tach and Speedometer are stock and work. There is a Cobra CB in the dash with a FireStick ant on a custom Fourtreks mount.

The five 315-70-17 ProComp Extreme tires are worn but have plenty of off road trips left in them. They are mounted on steel rims that show trail wear.

This Jeep has been a toy and was used regularly for off road trips. Due to a job change two years ago the Jeep has seldom been off road and only driven to work once a month or so. It has been garage kept- and started regularly. When started and not driven it is always allowed to run unit the T-sat opens, before it is turned off.

Body has Character marks. Hood is dented- paint is scratched- etc

NV4500 Rattles in neutral. Has done it since new. This Trans was not a salvage yard transmission, it was bought new and installed in Jeep. Multiple transmission and Jeep techs have check trans and deemed it normal function. Listed as con, more of FYI or curiosity as to why does the Transmission rattle in neutral.
