The Jeep Wagoneer was introduced to the market as the first American built sport utility vehicle (SUV) in 1963 and carried through an industry leading 28 years of production. Deemed a 4-wheel drive truck with car-like drivability, it literally wrote the book decades before buyers would find large trucks a suitable daily driver. It would be produced with limited changes year to year, but the most luxurious and well-appointed came about with the introduction of the Grand Wagoneer in 1984. It would be fully loaded with all available options and became the “gold standard” for luxury off-road vehicles. Standard equipment included 15” alloy wheels with white wall tires, air conditioning, dual front power seats, AM/FM/ Cassette radio with Jensen Accusound speakers roof rack & rails, leather & velour seating surfaces, leather wrapped steering wheel, power windows & locks, power rear hatch window, tinted window glass, faux wood body side appliques, and so much more! After Chrysler acquired AMC in early 1987, only a few improvements were made to this well established platform making the 1987-1991 final year models highly desirable for collectors today!
this 1988 jeep is in very nice condition the interior is all original and in great condition no cuts or tears in the seats the carpet is very nice no stains or any wear never smoked in no cracks in dash
body of the jeep is very straight no dents couple of nickel sized dings hardly notice them paint is very nice I believe that this is the original paint its still very glossy and shines like new still the original wood grain and is in good condition and all original this jeep is rust free and was garage kept
she runs great with that factory 360 cubic inch v-8 engine and automatic transmission shifts very smooth drives down the road very straight starts right up every time 4x4 works great wa was never off roaded or hot roded this Jeep was adult owned and was babied all its life was always fully serviced every 3000 miles

everything works like it should all the windows go up and down nice and fast still has the factory radio that works all the power seats work

these jeeps are a part of history they don't make them like this anymore they are a true collectors item they will only gain value from this point and there getting very hard to find in this condition with no rust and all original was garaged kept for many years and was in the family for over 15 years
