1968 Jeep J4000 Pick Up Truck Gladiator Additional Info:

Up For Auctions is a Great Looking 1968 Jeep J4000/Gladiator. The truck was restored about 8 years ago but then sat in a warehouse for a long time. It was driven from time to time, but not very often because the owner at the time lived in Dubai. About 4 months ago he came back to Oregon to sell his warehouse along with everything inside. The guy was a "Jeep Nut".he loved anything Jeep and international. Anyhow this Jeep was inside the warehouse, so this is how I ended up with the Jeep. The first thing I did was I towed it to a mechanics were he flushed the gas tank, changed all the fluids including brakes, rewired a few things, rebuilt the carb, changed almost all the bulbs, and just went over the entire Truck to make it road worthy. This is something I do on every car I have ever bought. The truck runs good now but the gas gauge and temp gauge do not work. The gas gauge just needs a new float and the temp gauge was working but stopped. The truck had a custom front bumper and winch on it when I bought it, but the old owner snagged it off the jeep when i left and my buddy that picked it up with he trailer had no idea. The wiring and control are all still there would be very easy to add one. The truck is very nice inside and out and it shows in the photos. Who ever did the body and paint work when it was restored did a very nice job and used good materials. The Jeep has a few blemishes, first off in Oregon we are not allowed to pump are own gas so we are forced to watch kids(gas attendants) spill gas down the side of are trucks as you see in my photo what the gas did to my paint. Its as if the attendant just pulled it out with the gas still flowing and overtime it just eats away at the clear coat if its not cleaned right away. I see this in so many trucks and cars around Oregon. Also it has a few chips, but i will touch them all up this week(I had the paint color matched and it turned out perfect). The Headliner needs to be put in place a little better, radio does not work cause speaker is blown, the passenger door panel needs some adjusting, but still this all looks fine I just want to be completely forward on the truck since you only see photos. The Jeep does have custom License Plates That read "1968 JEEP" with new tags good for 2 years. All Said this is a Really nice Jeep and is who ever gets it will be very happy with it. The body is Super Straight,Paint is very nice,The interior looks almost new, and the wheels and tires look new. Please look at my feedback and all photos. I have a shipper(not a broker) he is local and seems to be fair on his prices so far. Just to give you an idea he charged me $1300 to NJ from Oregon, $800 to Wisconsin, and i think $700 to Texas. This price goes up and down every week but will be a pretty good ballpark price to go off of. I will help with any shipper you choose though.
Thanks For Looking At My Auction, and please if you like vintage or classic cars save me as a seller.
