1994 Jeep Cherokee Police Package, 4dr, 4wd, 135k miles, 4.0 HO, AT, PS, PB, ABS, AC, cruise, tilt, AM-FM stereo. Additionally, this vehicle is equipped with HD cooling, HD alternator, skid plate package, HD suspension, column shift, extended idle switch, 10-inch rear brakes, 120 mph speedometer, no top speed governor, HD wheels, 235/75/15 tires, including spare, all tire change tools, blackout trim group, cloth seats front, vinyl rear, vinyl flooring, driver's side spotlight, plug-in block heater.
I purchased this vehicle from a small town Sheriff's Dept in Nevada. The original NV title I received showed the Sheriff's office as the original owner, dating back to 1994. A new buyer will receive a copy of the original title, as well as the current WA State title.
I trailered the vehicle home from NV, and licensed, titled, and registered it in my name here in WA State, and paid all the sales tax on it.
To make this vehicle safe and reliable, it has undergone an extensive go-through and updating, including, new radiator, new hoses, fresh coolant, new coolant temp gauge sender, new oil pressure gauge sender, new spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, TPS sensor, new exhaust manifold and gasket, new catalytic converter, new heat shields, new motor mounts, new shocks, lubed chassis, fresh oil and filter change, new air filter, complete gas tank removal, full soak, scrub, clean, dry, installed new Bosch fuel pump and strainer, new tank lock ring and gasket, pumped, tested fuel pre-filter to insure cleanliness, installed new fuel filter, inspected brakes and components, approximately 50% wear on pads and shoes, tires appear new.
There are some small isolated areas of rust forming underneath the vehicle. I have included photos showing these areas. All 4wd functions operate normally, all heat controls work, and A/C is cold.
The seats are in good shape, a bit dirty, with some small tears and cuts. The instrument cluster glass has a small crack at the bottom, and the gear indicator in the instrument cluster is not working. The headliner is good. The front windshield has a crack, and part of the trim panel housing the wipers is missing. The body and paint have numerous nicks, scrapes, dings, and touch-ups from the years. There are plugs in the roof from antennas, and several drill holes inside where equipment was mounted.
The Jeep runs and drives beautiful, both in town and out on the highway. I think you would really enjoy this very unique piece of XJ history. The vehicle is available for inspection, and an inspection is recommended as with all used vehicles. Will deliver within 50 miles of Spokane, WA, including Spokane International Airport, served by most major airlines, and am happy to coordinate with any shipping companies.
