1967 Jaguar Mark II 340 Additional Info:

You are bidding on a 1967 Jaguar Mark II 340 Sedan. I have owned this car since 1976. Original matching numbers, engine, and transmission. The car hasn't run since it was put into Hangar storage in 1980.
It has the original engine to the car, a 3.4L DOHC Inline 6 with twin SU Carburetors. The engine rotates freely (not seized). The car has the original 4 speed Manual transmission with Synchro-mesh on all 4 gears. This is the same Jaguar transmission that was used on the same model year E-type. The rest of thedrive-trainrotates freely. The transmission and differential don't leak.
The interior on the '67 Jaguar 340 is original vinyl seating. The seats are in very good condition. Not all the carpeting is intact. The factory supplied wood veneer finishes are in excellent condition, having been restored by the owner in the late '70s. With the exception of the carpeting, the interior is complete, including original wool headliner.
Overall the body is in good shape with typical rust in the rocker-sill areas. The right rear quarter-panel has a dent where another vehicle backed into it. The right rear passenger window glass has shattered, but is in place. All other glass is intact and in good shape. All chrome trim is intact and presentable.
I enjoyed this car for 5 years and put it in storage with a plan to restore it at a later date. When it was parked, all the electrics were functional. Over time some components, such as the carburetors, brakes, and heater were removed from the car and prepped for restoration. All removed parts are included in the sale. The car comes 99% complete.
This car has been in indoor hangar storage since it was parked. It was my intent to someday restore the car to her former glory, however, too many other projects got in the way. This car would make a good restoration project or would be a significant source of original Jaguar parts.
