1990 Jaguar XJS 2-Door convertible Additional Info:

Pleased to present this rare Jaguar XJS to the market as so few of these exist with less than 21,000 miles and in excellent condition. This 1990 Jaguar XJS was sold new in California and remained with the original owner until 2011 when the second CA owner acquired the car.

Obviously always garaged with absolutely no rust and no accidents, owned by very careful and mature owners /drivers since new, this CA carremains in its original condition. The original factor Blue Diamond paint color is in truly excellent condition as are the original leather seats and interior. This car won best in class in the "Wheels Across the Pond" British Classic Car Show in Southern California. The trophy stays with the car.

The 1990 Jaguar XJS was way ahead of its time with great factory features that include full power seats, heated seats, auto climate control, power convertible top, lumbar support, map lights, cruise control, power windows and mirrors and special Dayton wire wheels ($650 each). All VIN tags are present on this car and no bodywork or paintwork seems to be done.

one of the finest race-proven engines built by Jaguar, the smooth 5.3 L V12 engine was a worthy successor to the XK series of Jaguar sports cars dating from the late 1940s. This particular engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and doesn't burn or leak oil. The car drives exactly like a V12 Jaguar with such low miles should.

With just over 20,000 original miles, this car has many miles left in it.

The cabin is upholstered in gray leather with no visible wear, contrasted by burl wood veneers on the dash, doors, and center console. The car retains a factory stereo system and is equipped with power-adjustable front seats and a trip computer. The navy-blue top is in pristine condition and the boot cover snaps into place with ease.

After driving this car, it is apparent it was well cared for as it is beautiful inside and out. The Diamond Blue paint job is original from the factory and almost still shines like new. Many say that this model is the last true Jaguar that was developed, engineered and put into production by the Jaguar team prior to any outside influences.Overall a great United Kingdom car that would fit right into any collection. The vehiclecomes with 2 sets of keys, owner's manuals, a few service receipts and recent part list of repairs.

These sport luxury convertibles ruled the 80s and 90s and still stand as one of the most affordable v12 sports cars on the market today. The XJS is the perfect cruiser. Whether you like to go fast or enjoy a Sunday cruise with the top down, these cars deliver a smile every time. This classic Jag has a firm suspension, the engine has just enough power and the brakes have the right amount of bite. If there is one word to describe this car, it is balance. Finished with a stunning blue exterior and a gray interior, this car is sure to turn heads.
