VIDEO ABOVE OF THIS JAGUARS TOUR & ROAD TEST ^^
Capable of 120mph speed, the Jaguar XK120 was the fastest production vehicle of its day. It was produced from 1948 until 1954. This example has been owned by the same Texas gentleman since 1977. Prior to his ownership, the car resided with the original purchaser. It has had a host of recent mechanical and cosmetic work (2016-17) including full brake restoration, a gearbox rebuild, engine tuning, various seal replacements including engine, transmission, and differential work. The interior upholstery and foam in the seats was professionally replaced with OEM quality materials. The carpeting has been replaced. The suspension has been worked on as well. The heater core was replaced. Various things have been done with over $15,000 in receipts. This car runs and drives exceptionally well. Be sure to play the special video seen above of this XK120 in action.
This beautiful car retains its original number's matching 3.4 lire Twin Cam Six. The XK's inline 6 cylinder engine was designed under direction of William Heyes. The Hemispherical combustion chambers allowed the use of larger valves. Factory power ratings were 160 horsepower & 195 lb-ft of torque. The wonderful dual cam XK engine would power Jaguars from 1948 until nearly 1969.
This is the original number's matching engine, see the stamping above, matching the car's identification plate.

The original identification plate is in place and legible. This Jaguar still has its born-with engine (W9700-8)

The body design is a work of art in itself. The paint and body are in very good condition front to back as is the brightwork. The paint does have some minor imperfections, chip touch-ups, and some cracking, see photos below.

The convertible top is in great shape. The mechanism works correctly as well. We also have the canvas convertible top boot.

The interior underwent some upgrades including upholstery, seat foam, carpeting, and detail work.

Open the doors to 1954. The interior features beautiful upholstery along with the factory dash, gauges, steering wheel, and an aftermarket radio. The speedometer is functional and the rev counter seems to work intermittently.

The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with a spare tire/wheel.

The undercarriage is untouched and very original.

The undercarriage appears to be exceptionally solid throughout. The door undersides are solid. The paint is worn and chipping at the rocker panels, but it does not appear to be more than surface rust.
This car has a canvas tonneau cover & convertible top boot.Enjoy the remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.
