1953 Jaguar C-Type Roadster Reproduction Additional Info:

This 1953 Jaguar C-Type Roadster is a stunning recreation and absolutely gorgeous in Midnight Blue Metallic over Red leather interior. The heart of this auto is the Jaguar 4.2L/280hp inline 6-cylinder, in this case running on Triple Weber Sidedraft Carburettors. Spent gasses exit through headers to sidepipes exhaust. It has excellent performance. Beneath the Handcrafted Composite Panels lies a handmade spaceframe chassis and the running gear from an XJ6. There's fully independent suspension all round, and a Toyota five-speed gearbox. The gearchange is fantastic and straight-line performance eye-opening. The exhaust noise -- such an important part of an authentic replica -- is savage, the crisp note barely silenced on this example. It handles tidily as well, with plenty of grip, plus the 4-wheel disc brakes inspire confidence.Only 53 original Jaguar C-type were built. Pricing is in the millions (if one for sale) so it is not hard to imagine why good recreations are sought. The Realm 'Heritage' C-type is built from high-quality GRP using their enhanced manufacturing system, developed from many years experience. Modern features provide better road holding and safety, with; independent rear suspension, dual circuit brakes, collapsible steering column, improved braking. Original examples of Jaguar C-Types are well over a million dollars. With the looks of the famous vintage Jaguar coupled with modern features and reliability, this is a fabulous opportunity for some vintage roadster fun in the sun to your collection. For the 1953 LeMans race Jaguar fitted the C-Type cars with the revolutionary Dunlop disc brakes. The three cars entered finished first, second and fourth. The winners, Rolt and Hamilton, averaged a speed of over 100mph (161 km/h) for the first time in the history of the Le Mans race. For more information on this fantastic 1953 Jaguar C-Type Roadster recreation, or any of our 100+ Exotic, Sports, and Special Interest cars always in our inventory, contact one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales consultants or always feel free to drop by our 40,000 sq ft of Indoor Showrooms in Bellevue, WA - Home to the West Coast's most exciting inventory of Luxury, Exotic, Sports, Special Interest and Collectible Cars.
