Body and frame overall solid good condition. Metal trim, badging, and door handles all there with minor pitting. Dashboard uncut. Floor panels have surface rust but solid underneath no rust through.

266 V8 starts and runs well. Newer galvanized exhaust system. I bought the truck with the Gear box stated as shifting smoothly through all speeds, including reverse and ultra-low granny 1st. It needs all new brakes including master cylinder and wheel cylinders. It comes with a new master cylinder I bought but never installed. The last owner stated “4WD controls, transfer case, drive shafts and wheel lockers intact but in full disclosure I’ve never tried the 4WD in the years I’ve owned it. Drives fine in 2WD.” I was not able to test it due to brakes locking up.

Steering damper retrofitted to tame steering wheel whip-around during cornering. All glass needs to be replaced due to cracks. Turn signal switch works intermittently, likely due to worn contacts. The Heater, horn, and rear flood light are inoperative. Glove box door won’t stay shut due to broken latch. It is currently off to install wiper motor. Comes with all manuals and build sheet. Plus all parts shown in the picture for the truck. New master cylinder, brake lines.

Dents in left rear fender corner and front left near wheel well (see pictures).Bed has dents in tailgate and front of bed. Cab has dents in back from items in bed hitting it in the past. Tailgate does work. Spare tire included, bed side mounting bracket is missing. Bracket holes in sidewall are all intact. Passenger door hinge is loose, needs to be re-welded. Door opens and shuts with gentle support. Driver and passenger side glass is cracked. Rear glass and passenger wing window are fine. Small crack on driver side windshield corner. Rubber boots / seals for doors, 4WD levers, steering column, clutch, and gear shift are worn or missing. There is some rust but not through at the hood hinges. The Passengers door needs the upper hinge welded have to lift door for it to close.

The truck is a Unique, stout, well-running survivor, factory 4x4 IH truck with an interesting history. Ready for your restoration, resto-mod, or drive it vintage with a few timely fix-ups. Offered with no reserve for the successful bidder who will appreciate this brawny American classic.Tuck was towed to Joshua tree by me on a tow dolly. It is currently more work than I can handle because I have a bad back and have decided to sell it. I have also gone blind in my right eye and will be selling this and other project.
