This is a rare truck and super cool!!! 1955 international s-100 shortbed pickup. Bought it to restore but won’t get around to it because I’m going overseas for three years for work. Sold with a bill of sale, been out of the DMV since 1987 but had a clear title when parked according to the previous owner. No serious cancerous rust anywhere that I have seen. Body is in great shape for its age and complete for a restoration. Interior is pretty bare. I placed the third row seat from my suburban in it, however it is not mounted. Doors open and close like the truck just rolled out of the showroom. The hood unlatches from either side, or both sides so you can take it completely off with ease. The truck has sat since 1987, ran when parked according to the previous owner. It spent its life in a very dry desert area of California.
The only things I did to this truck once I got it to my house was clean 30 plus years of dirt and dust off of it and out of it with a pressure washer, shot marvel mystery oil in the spark plug holes, put the third row seat in it, turned the motor by hand, cranked the motor by jumping the studs on the starter with a screwdriver which worked, and then it went in the garage where it has sat untouched since.
I make no claim to the mechanical condition of this vehicle other than I was able to turn the motor by hand and crank it by jumping the studs on the starter. I am also not an international harvester expert and have never ran across another S-100 so I can't tell you anything about it in terms of whats original etc. This is a project vehicle and needs to be completely gone through, rewired, etc. It is 65 years old and has sat for half of its life.
For sale locally, reserve the right to end at anytime. Buyer is responsible for pickup locally or through a company. I offer no warranty of any kind on this truck and the sale is final.
