1953 International Harvester R110

With much regret, I'm offering my favorite and very rare IH R110. You just don't see these very desirable split window models come up for auction very often. Found and purchased this one of a kindtruck from the original owner's grandson. This was a very cool and vintage work truck from Wyoming and still has the original lettering on the door. I originally fell in love with the patina and my plan was to clear coat the entire truck and not touch any of the originality. I haveall the badging but left off in preparation for the clear coat. The truck is super solid and there is no cancer anywhere on the truck (know that sounds funny considering the patina color but its solid). The floors boards are incredible...just look at the pics. Its been a labor of love getting her back on the road but she now runs like a Swiss watch. The original inline 6 fires up every time and effortlessly. I had the entire fuel system re-built: I had the carb gone through, tank cleaned, and tested. New sending unit and a new electric fuel pump. I had the radiator completely gone through and re-cored. I converted the 6v generator to a 6v alternator which allowed me to utilize the existing 6v wiring/gauges and lights. New master cylinder was installed but remember it's still a vintage braking system but it doeswork. The 4 speed manual tranny shift and works good but it does have a slight howl and I'm guessing there is a bearing going bad. The interior consists of a bench seat and the backrest is perfect but the bottom seat will need to be recovered. All the glass is there and complete. The wheels and tires are decent buthad plans for nice Artillery style wheels. My early vision was to create a stellar rat rod with a S-10 chassis, airbagsand modern driveline but I soon realized how special this truck was and was leaning towards keeping it original. I have an original bed rack that slides into the bed stake holes that will go with the truck...its very cool and period correct for the theme of the truck.

This truck has so much character that it pains me to get rid of her but need the thin out the herd a bit and oh yea...need to give uncle Sam a donation in a couple of weeks:(

I have the original cleanWyoming title signed and ready to go. Thanks for looking.
