1951 International Harvester Other Pickups Additional Info:

I am listing this for a friend who no can no longer drive due to failing eyesight. Heres a nice 1951 International that the current owner redid to drive. The motor is a Ford 300ci 6 cylinder, carbureted, with a rebuilt c6 automatic transmission, the motor runs excellent with no issues and has a new carb, starter, and altenator. The truck also has a Ford 9 inch rear end. 12 volt system with new underdash gauges, the original gauges are still in the dash but not hooked up although the speedometer is working. The truck has a working heater. All lights and signals work. Vacuum windshield wipers not hooked up and it is unknown if they work. The entire non power brake system is brand new . The interior is mainly original 51 International with a new vinyl seat cover and updated gauges. Working am/fm stereo. The body before new paint was in great condition with the only major rust being in the front grill/parking light area which was repaired by welding in new steel patches and then the parking lights were replaced with a modern set of led type lights. The paint job is nice with only minor chips here and there from use. The bed is treated wood with the original steel strips. The glass is all original uncracked or chipped with light scratches. The lettering on the back sides of the box are removeable decals. The bumpers are 53 Ford with premium chrome plating. All 4 radial tires are brand new. I am sure I am forgetting something so feel free to ask a question and I can answer or put you in touch with the owner. This truck was built to be a cool reliable driver. Its well done and not a backyard cobble job. It rides, stops and steers like a 1951 truck. Its is not a 100 point show restoration, although I wouldnt be afraid to show up at a local car show with it. It drives nice and smooth at highway speeds and I wouldnt be afraid to drive it anywhere. Can help load and will store for a time if arrangements are made.
