1993 Honda Civic CX Additional Info:

Up for auction is my 1993 Honda Civic CX hatchback. I have owned it for about 8 years and practically rebuilt the whole thing. I have been driving just about everyday as my main commuter vehicle. The engine was swapped from the original D15B8 to the 16 valve D15B7 to give it a little bit more power. I also swapped the transmission from a DX also which is a little better gear ratios for hills and mountain driving. When i did the engine I also did the water pump and timing belt and a new clutch. I also put a rebuilt cylinder head with new head bolts and head gasket. Last year I rebuilt the front end all bushings and ball joints new struts and wheel bearings. I also did the complete air conditioner system conversion to 134A. (compressor, dryer, evaporator, condenser, and hoses). The A/C works very well. I added an aftermarket cruise control system. The car itself is in nice shape for a 26 year old vehicle. It has some rust over the left rear tire you can see it in the photos. I hit a deer and had to replace the hood and right headlight and turn signal I did not replace the core support so the right headlight is pushed in a little bit and hood to fender line is off. I also had it painted because it was starting to surface rust. It is not an award winning paint job there are still dents and dings. I just put new tires on the car last month. I have no doubt the car will make it anywhere you want to drive to. With that being said I'm not giving it away starting bid is the lowest I will go these cars are getting hard to find and this one is in very good condition and I have always taken good care of it. Everything works as it should the only 2 issues I know of are a little oil leaking around the distributor and possibly rear main seal but only about a quart every 2000-3000 miles. The other is a creaking noise in the front end on drivers side maybe the steering rack. I have driven in circles both directions and cannot get it to make it repeatedly. Please look at the photos and if you have any questions please ask them. Thanks for looking mileage will go up slightly as I'm still driving the car until it is sold. Also for sale locally so auction can end at anytime if sold.
