Beautiful condition. Garaged for 36 years. Must see to believe. We've only driven this car occasionally for fun. On a scale of 1 to 10, this 1982 Honda Accord is at least a 9. To restore it to a 10 you will need to get rid of a couple of very small rust spots, and make two minor repairs to the upholstery.
Other than that, the body and interior are in near perfect condition and look and feel new. There are a few other small imperfections which can all be expertly improved. More importantly, this is a car that has been treated with care, love and respect since the day we drove it out of the showroom in Mahwah, New Jersey in 1982. We've kept all of the original paperwork including the Mahwah Honda key ring and the 1982 catalog.
This car features the rare wood and aluminum luggage rack atop the trunk. That's not an add-on. It was factory or dealer installed 36 years ago. If you're looking for a vintage Honda that looks and runs like a dream, you've found it. If you are the next owner of this classic car, and you restore it, we'd love to see photos. We will miss this car. But it's time to move on. Good luck trying to find another 1982 Honda in this condition, and with only 65,000 original miles. That's less than 2,000 miles a year = 40 miles a week.
